Coming off an extraordinary Spring tour, Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller kicked off his summer tour which included a stop in Alton, Illinois. Described as “An Amazing Evening of Original American Music – Classic Rock Meets Classic Country,” the tour was one of the premier concerts of Summer 2019 lineup.
Steve Miller has been an enlivening presence on the American music scene for more than half a century. In the 1970’s Miller crafted a brand of pure pop that was smart, polished, exciting and irresistible – and it dominated radio in a way few artists ever managed. Hits included: “The Joker,” “Take the Money and Run,” “Rock’n Me,” “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Jet Airliner,” and “Jungle Love,” among others.
Marty Stuart And His Fabulous Superlatives are known for their eclectic and seasoned musicianship. Stuart is described as “an amazing singer, songwriter and country music scholar.”
