We are so grateful to have played a part in The Art of Hope, Cancer Support Community’s (CSC) signature fundraising gala. For the past 10 years the event has presented the Marsha Wolff and Tina Borchert Inspiration Award in memory of two of CSC’s founders and to honor those who have made positive differences in the St. Louis oncology community.
This year, we worked closely with CSC’s committee and leadership to completely redesign the event, the program and the entertainment. The result was a vibrant gala appropriately named the Art of Hope! Guests were greeted by colorful body painted models who led them to a “art framed” photo backdrop. After check-in, guests enjoyed cocktails in a multi-hued room with live art being created all around them!
When the ballroom doors opened, guests poured into a “splatter painted” dining room! Our design team came up with the idea of layering vibrant LED lighting and splatter pattern gobos to create a stunning look. After a very successful auction, touching remarks from cancer patients and a performance by world renown painter Brian Olsen- Art in Action, guests left with a special branded bag of sweets to remember the evening.
