The National Memorial of Military Ascent (NMMA) dedication commemorated the opening of a new memorial honoring the U.S. Army Rangers who scaled the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc during the D-Day invasion.
Set along the limestone bluffs of Grafton, Illinois, the memorial creates an immersive tribute to courage, sacrifice, and military service through large-scale sculptural elements and a dramatic natural setting.
The dedication brought together veterans, military families, civic leaders, donors, and community members for a meaningful ceremony designed to honor the past while introducing the memorial to the public.
